Bob serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. He works closely with Messrs. Starfield and Smith to provide overall business leadership, and he supervises the financial, technology, marketing, human resources, and facilities functions.  He also serves on the Executive Committee.

Before joining Starfield & Smith, Bob spent over sixteen years as Controller and then Chief Financial Officer of a large Philadelphia based law firm. A graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Bob majored in accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. He is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
