Demetri is actively involved within his community by doing pro bono work to help individuals who are in financial distress file for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 7 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
Demetri grew-up in the Bensonhurst area of Brooklyn, New York. He attended the University of Buffalo where he studied Political Science and Philosophy. During his undergraduate tenure, Demetri played collegiate ice hockey and was actively involved with student-body government. Demetri attended law school and business school on a scholarship at the North Carolina Central University and graduated with a joint degree. When Demetri is not in the office or a local courthouse, he resides in Bucks County with his wife, daughter and their dog Charleston.

Representative Matters Highlights
Successfully represented a national lending institution in an adversary proceeding prosecuting the denial of bankruptcy discharge and resolving absolute priority issues.
Successfully represented an automobile wholesaler against a national taxi and limousine company. Federal court assessed damages at almost $1 million dollars.
Successfully represent a national remediation company in enforcement of noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements following voluntary termination of employment by eight key employees. All noncompete provisions were enforced.
Successfully defended a pro bono case involving a creditor who sought to revoke client’s bankruptcy discharge.
Successfully prosecuted claims brought by a consumer against a national debt collection company for violating the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”).
